I am finished with all of those CDs now and am hungry for some more!!!!! And find myself looking forward to hearing more. Someone asked me yesterday what church I was going to and instead of my usual, well I don’t know I”m looking around, I was able to tell them that I went to one and think that is where I am meant to be. Good feeling!

”The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?”
This verse has lead me through some deep waters through the years. What can man do to me? So many times, usually at work, in the professional world, I run into meanness, mean, cold hearted, mean spirited people. People who act ugly and choose to be mean. People who must be miserable, otherwise the person wouldn’t act out in this manner. Those who push and shove by treating others bad, gossiping, and trying to stay on top. I remind myself of this verse. The Lord is MY helper!! I WILL NOT be afraid!! But How many times do I forget this?? when another person or person/s try to push me down. Words hurt, actions hurt. Why do they choose to pick on me? No matter how I handle the situation, it seems to fan the fire. WHAT can MAN DO to me? NOTHING. Man can sling mud (words), and throw a physical and spiritual fit, but will MY LORD let that person harm my soul? NO! For I am a child of GOD.

I’m new to the Almighty Chicks, but as I read through this blog, I have to be sure and share the need to pray constantly, and be sure to stop and listen to Him. I find myself praying throughout the day, spending time asking the Holy Spirit to help me in each situation I cross, and pray every time I come across something I know I cannot possibly handle on my own without His strength, knowledge, and courage. I have suffered much over the years, learning to endure certain situations,and have found that trusting him Him is SO important every single day. Food for thought…….

I‘m sure many of you are like me and one of the first things you do in the morning is head here and check out the new post.
